Faedah, eh?

Woot, I guess I've been slacking off in my blogging activity. Hee.
Anyway, classes have already started for a week now, and travelling to and fro is like nothing to me anymore. One particular journey will definitely be remembered for quite some time, as I almost got fined. Not by the security people in USM but by the actual policeman outside. Huhu~~

So, I was travelling back from uni the other day using the Yeap Chor Ee Road. After passing a school on the right, I'll have to turn left at the traffic light. If you know the place well, you'll know there's a church nearby and behind it is the Hamidkhan school. After I made the turn into the school which I know is illegal, but I do it afterall to save me the trouble of going a big round, I was stopped by a policeman. There was another on a lookout for other crime-doers. At first, I thought it was just a normal procedure where they check your IC and license and that's it. But unfortunately, I was told that I made an illegal turning. Dang!

Police : Encik, saya bagi saman ya~~
Me : (think for awhile) Boleh bagi peluang tak tuan? (normal reaction la, right?)
Police : Apa bagi peluang? (sounds annoyed)
Me : (quick in replying the annoyed voice) Tak pa tak pa tuan. Takde apa.
Police : Kamu bagi tau saya....apa peluang u mau? Ada peluang minta maaf, ada faedah . Cakap. Apa u mau?
Me : (Shit!) errrr.... u bagi tau apa you mau buat? Bagi saman pun takpa.
Police : U kerja sebagai apa?
Me : Student saja. Dari USM.
Police : Saman banyak jugak tau. 200 untuk belok kanan, 100 lagi untuk double line.
Me : (still confused) errrrr....apa you nak buat tuan?
Police : U cakap apa u mau?

Another car is being spotted doing that illegal turning and was stopped behind me.

Me : Kalau macam ni tuan, saya minta maaf yea.
Police : (glanced at the car for an instant) Kali pertama saya bagi peluang ya. Saya tak mau terima wang.
Me : Terima kasih tuan. (DAMN RELIEVED!!!!)

The fact that I didn't offer any amount was because it might be a trap. Later who knows after offering an amount, they start accusing me for extra crime. I would be better off with the fine. but oh well, like Kiaoz said, acting pity is always the best escape way. I think the other car saved my ass. LOL! But hell I wasn't acting, I was seriously blank at that time. I wouldn't even want to think how my face would look like being scared and having to smile at times like this. UGH!!!
