Brain Distortion

Hey, I'm back! You all out there must be wondering where have I been this whole time. I didn't go anywhere for the holidays, just lazy to update my blog. Gosh, I'm honest this time. lol. Anyway, I think I have an illness, an Unidentified Neuro Illness. Let's call it U.N.I for the fun of it. LOL. Anyway, everyone knows that brains consists of two sides, each controlling different aspects of the things you can do. I didn'tdo any research about it when I decided to write about it. So do tell me if I'm wrong. Ok, basically what I understand about those two different sides of the brain is that one controls mostly scientific stuffs and another control the non-scientific stuffs, e.g language, communication skills etc etc. Well, I think I'm losing the non-scientific part of my brain. *screams in horror*

I have evidence to support it. LOL. It seems that I've lost my touch in translating from English to BM. Not to boast, but I do find it easy to do the translation when I was in Semester 1, when I was studying LKM400 (in short....BM). So it's been one year since I actively read any BM reading materials. So this isn't such a concrete evidence. I do have a hypothesis though. I'm learning so much about Chemistry, about science that I think my non-scientific side is deteriorating to provide more space to my scientific side so that I can study better. You know, it's like the scientific side has expanded its empire.

Today, I lent my assignment to one of my coursemate and when I asked him to pass up for me, he looked blur. You know why? 'Cause I direct translate "pass up for me" to Mandarin : "jiao gei wo" which results in a total different meaning. The latter means to "pass TO me". ARGHH!! It should have been "pang wo jiao" (help me to pass it up). 21 years of speaking in Mandarin doesn't help at all. Seems like all the languages I've learnt are "pua tang sai" (half shit tank). Cantonese : I understand it but I'm not fluent in it. FAIL!!!!
Hokkien : Vocabulary limited to KNN, CB, LC etc etc FAIL!!!!
French : Not even half shit tank!!!! FAIL!!!!
BM : Losing it~~ FAIL!!!!!
Mandarin : 21 years of "chi liau bi" (feed waste rice) FAIL!!!
English : I'm in Malaysia. What do you expect?? FAIL!!!!

Owh yea. Talking about Hokkien. I only learn Hokkien through my friends since Std 1. I went to school without any knowledge whatsoever about Hokkien, and slowly pick up the pace. You would have thought I've picked up alot in these years. Well, you're wrong. I don't even catch the meaning of the following sentense : "Lu lang sin ku tiu be chiau ko. H1N1 si mo cheng eh." LOL! For some of you who know who wrote this, you might be laughing right now. But not a laughing material kay, I seriously suck in interpreting. When I finally been told of the meaning, I was like "OHHHH....WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT??" I didn't even know what's CHIAU KO and I couldn't even think of the meaning that matches with the simple word like MO CHENG!!! LOL!!! I know this is sentense sounds funny but it still proves that my language side of my brain is deteriorating, and FAST!!

If my hypothesis is right, the only cure is to stop studying about science. What's worse is that the increse doesn't match with the decrease. Example, my language side deteriorates by 60% but my scientific side only increases by 10%. So now, both are incapable of performing fully, so I'm communicating badly and having trouble with studying. NOOOESSSSS!!!! If I continue studying for Masters, oh god help me, I might turn into a retard, unable to speak well. I'll most probably be like unable to use punctuation grammer all gone rong speak in farny sentenses and all sorts. Imagin teaching a master purrsueing student who cant talks or speaks wel. then ill be like the character in the nohvul flowers for algernon and go thru human experimens to fix my UNI.

AHHAHAHA!! Ok, enuff, ***enough with this crap. I'm just having a random thought if this kind of illness really exists, where a genius retard will be born. A person who excels sooooo greatly in scientific matters but fails in communications. Scary huh? PAGING FOR DR HOUSE!!!
